According to UNN's sources, first, the SBU drones overwhelmed the Russian air defense system that was protecting the plant. This created a “window of opportunity” for Ukrainian missiles, which the SBU and the Navy jointly practiced in the next stage.
The attack on the refinery resulted in a large-scale fire. The video shows many sources of ignition over a large area. The ELOU-AVT-2.5 unit, which is designed to produce liquefied petroleum gases, was also damaged. Preliminary information confirms that the joint operation of the SBU and the Navy caused significant damage to the company's production facilities.
“Today's special operation was carried out with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles of Ukrainian production. This once again proves the effectiveness and power of Ukrainian weapons. Including its ability to destroy enemy logistics working for the war in Ukraine,” said an informed source in the SBU.
