Dnipropetrovs'k region: Air defense shoots down Russian missile over Dnipro, at least 5 people wounded

Five people were injured in an evening attack by Russians along the Dnipro River. Ukrainian air defenders shot down an enemy missile, but the debris fell in the regional center and damaged private homes.  The consequences of the evening shelling and the situation in the region were described by the head of the Dnipropetrovs'k RMA, UNN reports.

As of now, there are 5 victims in Dnipro. These are three men and a woman. There is also a 15-year-old boy. He has shrapnel wounds and contusion.

Lysak also said that the defenders of the sky destroyed an enemy missile in Dniprovskyi district. The debris fell on the territory of the regional center and in the Lyubymivska community. Smoke was observed in the latter.

According to preliminary information, 9 private houses in Dnipro were damaged by falling debris.

In the Lyubymivska community, a civilian car was damaged by enemy trenches. Three people were also injured there, but they refused hospitalization.

According to the head of the RMA, the occupiers also attacked the region during the day with heavy artillery and drones, bombarding Nikopol district, in total, the invaders made 11 attacks. Four people were wounded in these attacks.

Pokrovska village and Myrovska community got the worst of it. And Nikopol suffered the most. There are four victims there. In addition to the three people who were injured in the afternoon, there is another 55-year-old man.

It is also known that a private house, two garages and the same number of cars were on fire in Nikopol due to shelling. The fire has already been extinguished.

In addition, three houses, a car and a power line in Nikopol district were damaged.
