In Cyprus, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda. The leaders discussed in detail the development of cooperation in defense production, primarily focusing on cooperation in the Drone Deal format, UNN reports with reference to the Office of the President.

The Head of State thanked for the constant defense assistance. Lithuania plans to make a new contribution to the PURL program and is ready to cooperate with Ukraine within the SAFE program.
The President of Ukraine also noted the importance of today's decision to unblock the 90 billion euro loan and thanked for the support.
The leaders discussed in detail the development of cooperation in defense production, primarily focusing on cooperation in the Drone Deal format. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the experience of Ukrainians in building a life protection system should be scaled up to the whole of Europe, and we are ready for such a partnership.
As reported by the Presidential Office, special attention was paid to Ukraine's European integration. Ukraine expects the fastest possible opening of negotiation clusters for accession to the European Union. In the first half of 2027, Lithuania will chair the Council of the European Union, and Ukraine expects appropriate support on all issues related to its full membership in the European Union.
