Denmark has transferred 10 mobile storage units with climate control support to Ukraine. They will store aviation technical property sensitive to environmental conditions, reports UNN citing the Ministry of Defense.

What advantages do mobile storage units have

As reported by the ministry, the storage units are equipped with systems to maintain the necessary temperature and humidity. This will allow storing, in particular, metrological equipment and certain aircraft components.

Mobile storage units also increase the reliability of storing aviation technical property in wartime conditions.

Proper conditions help preserve the technical characteristics of equipment and extend its service life – thus maintaining the serviceability of the equipment that protects the Ukrainian sky.

How many mobile climate-controlled storage units are in Ukraine

The new batch has increased the number of mobile climate-controlled storage units in Ukraine to 25. By the end of the year, another 15 are expected to be delivered – bringing the total to 40.

The Ministry of Defense thanked Denmark for its support and contribution to the development of Ukrainian aviation infrastructure.

The mobile climate-controlled storage units were provided within the framework of the international Air Force Capabilities Coalition, which works to strengthen the protection of our sky: training Ukrainian pilots and technicians, transferring modern aircraft, developing airfield infrastructure and service.
