Recently, another attempt was made by an enemy subversive group in Sumy region. Fire was opened on them, a small arms battle ensued, but under pressure from Ukrainian defenders, other components of the Defense Forces joined in. As a result, the enemy subversive reconnaissance group was pushed back beyond our state border

- Demchenko said.

He noted that it is impossible to say that enemy subversive reconnaissance groups are attempting to cross our border on a daily basis or that there is a clear schedule for such attempts. However, the greatest activity is still observed in the direction of Sumy region.
