In the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,220 occupiers and destroyed 1,603 drones. Total losses of the Russian army have already exceeded 1.35 million people.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,220 Russian servicemen. Total losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have already exceeded 1.35 million people. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU, UNN reports.

According to the General Staff, as of May 18, 2026, the total combat losses of Russia approximately amount to 1,350,010 military personnel.
Additionally, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed one tank, five armored fighting vehicles, 47 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, and two air defense systems.
Russia lost more than 1,600 operational-tactical level drones
In addition to manpower, the Russian army suffered significant losses in equipment and weaponry. Over the day, the AFU destroyed one helicopter, 1,603 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as 220 units of motor vehicles and fuel tankers.
