Database failure on the border with Poland slowed down traffic at the "Medyka" checkpoint - SBGS

Due to a technical malfunction of the Polish database at the "Medyka" checkpoint, vehicle processing has slowed down. A queue of 50 cars has formed at the exit from Ukraine.

At the Medyka checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border, the database of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland is partially non-functional. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

This database is used for the processing of passenger cars and freight vehicles, buses, and pedestrians for entry to and exit from the Republic of Poland. Due to technical malfunctions, the processing of individuals and vehicles is being carried out in a slowed-down mode,
More than 50 passenger cars have accumulated at the exit from Ukraine. At the same time, there is no accumulation at the entry to Ukraine, and no accumulation of buses or pedestrians has been recorded.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine asked citizens to take this information into account when planning their trips and to choose alternative, less congested checkpoints - "Smilnytsia", "Nyzhankovychi", "Hrushiv", "Rava-Ruska", and "Uhryniv".
