Kyivstar compensates subscribers for tariff periods after a hacker attack with automatic cancellation of scheduled payments for mobile and home Internet services.

Kyivstar has launched a compensation procedure for subscribers who suffered from a hacker attack on the mobile operator last week. This was reported by the operator's press service with reference to by UNN.

Details

The company emphasizes that it is canceling the next tariff fee "to thank Ukrainians for their trust". 

Everything happens automatically. On the day of the scheduled payment, the money will not be withdrawn from the account and you will be charged all the volumes according to the tariff

In particular, from subscribers who use:

- prepaid tariff, the tariff fee that was scheduled to be withdrawn after 12/22/2023 will not be charged

- contract, the tariff will not be charged, which was to be charged daily from 12/22/2023 to 01/21/2024 (inclusive)

In addition, users of the home Internet tariff and the Vse Razom tariff will not be charged the fee that was scheduled to be charged on January 1, 2024.

On December 22 , Kyivstar subscribers started receiving notifications that the mobile operator cancels the daily fee for the period from 22.12.2023 to 21.01.24 inclusive and provides a regular package of services.
