Combat clashes on the front increased over the day - General Staff updated the map by sectors

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 236 combat engagements, which is a fifth more than the previous day. The fiercest fighting on the Pokrovsk axis, where defense forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy.
236 battles took place on the front line over the past day, which is one fifth more than the day before, the most intense fighting on the Pokrovsk axis, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning summary on April 25, showing a map of combat actions, writes UNN.
Defense forces are repelling the occupiers' attempts to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. In total, over the past day, 236 combat engagements were recorded
Yesterday, the enemy launched 86 air strikes, dropping 261 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it employed 6,849 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,634 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops' positions, including 64 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of populated localities in Sumy Oblast – Iskryskivshchyna; in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – Pokrovsk; in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the following suffered from air strikes: Charivne, Lyubitske, Tsvitкове, Hirke, Dolynka, Verkhnya Tersa, Sviatopetrivka, Kopani, and Rivne. The enemy also struck Dniprovske in Kherson Oblast.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas of concentration of enemy manpower.
Situation by axes
On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, over the past day, the enemy launched two air strikes using six guided bombs, conducted 119 shelling attacks on our troops' positions and populated areas, including 17 using multiple launch rocket systems. It carried out seven assault actions.
On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy attacked our units' positions seven times in the Staritsa area and towards Zybyne, Izbitske, Vovchansk, and Lyman.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy attacked 10 times in the Novoosynove and Kindrashivka areas and towards Radkivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy 15 times attempted to break into our defense, attacking towards the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Novoseriivka, Zelenyi Hai, Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis, throughout yesterday, the enemy conducted no assault actions.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked nine times towards Minkivka, Nykyforivka, Bondarne, Fedorivka, and Markove.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy conducted 27 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleschiivka, Ivanopillia, and towards the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Toretsk, and Stepnivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 63 assault actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Bilitske, Dorozhne, Rodinske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novopidhirne, and Molodetske.
On the Oleksandrivskyi axis, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrhrad and towards Kalynivske and Sosnivka.
On the Huliaipole axis, there were 14 occupier attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Tsvitкове, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske, Zelenе, and Sviatopetrivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance towards Prymorske and in the Stepove area.
On the Dnipro axis, the enemy conducted five assault actions towards the Antonivskyi Bridge, Bilohrudyi Island, and Kruhlyk Island.
No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
