The Georgian Interior Ministry reported 28 detainees in connection with riots at protest actions in Tbilisi. Among those detained are actor Andro Chichinadze and comedian Onis Tskadadze, about 450 people were detained in just 9 days of actions.

Georgian police have detained two other people on charges of participating in gang violence.
According to the agency, during the actions on Rustaveli Avenue, they "committed violent acts in a group", resisted and did not obey the legal requirements of the police, threw various objects in their direction.
Popular actor Andro Chichinadze and stand-up comedian Onise Tskhadadze are among those previously detained in the riot case. Some of the accused were detained following searches in the offices of political parties and civil society organizations. After the raids, the interior ministry showed footage of seized pyrotechnics and empty glass bottles with rags, which were called "Molotov cocktails". Some of the defendants are shown recordings of private conversations at actions and "live" on Facebook, where they talk about possible forms of resistance.
