The government has dismissed another deputy defense minister and the head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil, appointing an interim head of the service. The government also agreed to replace the heads of the Volyn and Zakarpattia RSAs, government representative in parliament Taras Melnychuk said on Telegram on Friday, UNN reports.

According to Melnychuk, the Cabinet of Ministers:

Dismissed:

  • Oleksandr Serhiy from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine;
  • Roman Opimakh as head of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.

According to him, Serhiy Dekhtyarenko has been temporarily entrusted with the duties of the head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine.

"The dismissal of Yuriy Pohulyayko from the post of head of the Volyn Regional State Administration has been approved. Appointment of: Ivan Rudnytsky as the head of the Volyn regional state administration, Myroslav Biletsky as the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration," Melnychuk said.
