Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at three border crossings with Ukraine - Yagodyn, Uhryniv and Rava-Ruska - with about 450 trucks waiting in lines, including 230 at the Yagodyn crossing alone.

Polish farmers continue to restrict truck traffic at three checkpoints on the border with Poland: "Yagodyn, Uhryniv, and Rava-Ruska. As of this morning, there are about 450 trucks in these areas, 230 of which are in front of the Yahodyn checkpoint. This was reported to UNN by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko.

Three directions remain blocked: "Yagodyn, Uhryniv, and Rava-Ruska. If we analyze the last few days, we can say that in all three directions, traffic from Ukraine to Poland is extremely difficult for trucks. For a long time, trucks were not allowed to cross the Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska border crossing to Poland at all. Later it was stated that empty trucks would be allowed to cross in small numbers, but this still varies from day to day. As of the morning, there are about 450 trucks in the queues in these three directions, including 230 in the direction of the Yahodyn checkpoint

- Demchenko said.

He said that over the past day, not a single truck crossed the Rava-Ruska checkpoint to Poland. Only 7 trucks crossed through the Yahodyn checkpoint. Through "Uhryniv" - 11.

"The traffic towards Ukraine is somewhat more intense, but it is difficult in the direction of the Yahodyn crossing point, given its capacity of 1200-1400 trucks per day in both directions, but only 70 trucks crossed into Ukraine over the past day. Over the past day, 23 trucks crossed into Ukraine through Uhryniv," added Demchenko.

The spokesperson noted that the situation is slightly better in the direction of the Rava-Ruska checkpoint towards Ukraine.

There are also queues at the previously unblocked areas, such as the Krakivets and Shehyni checkpoints. 800 and 600 trucks, respectively, are waiting in queues in Poland to cross the border to Ukraine. This is according to the information we have from our Polish colleagues

- Demchenko summarized.

Recall

On April 5, Polish farmers partially unblocked traffic through the Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska checkpoint, where 15 empty trucks are scheduled to enter Poland daily.
