US President Biden has initiated a poll to support Kamala Harris as a potential presidential candidate. This comes amid rumors of Biden's possible withdrawal from the race.
U.S. President Joe Biden has ordered a poll among voters to find out whether they will support Kamala Harris in the race for the presidency if she replaces him. This was reported on Thursday, July 18, by ABC TV channel, UNN reports.

It is indicated that the president has become “more receptive” to calls for him to withdraw from the race.
“Now the American leader is exhausted,” the TV channel's source said.
He also added that the time Biden will spend in self-isolation at his residence in Delaware will allow the president to think about the future and talk to people around him.
The Wall Street Journal writes that US Vice President Kamala Harris is considered the most likely candidate to replace Biden if he withdraws from the race.
And according to a July 11 poll by The Economist and YouGov, about 73% of Democratic Party supporters believe that Harris should be the Democratic candidate in the November presidential election.
