The MP said she was removed from office in response to "the truth about the problems in the Armed Forces and the military's appeal.

Today, the Committee's reaction to the truth about the problems in the Armed Forces and the military's appeal was to vote to remove me from the post of chairman of the subcommittee on civilian democratic oversight and control. Theses: it is impossible to discredit the military leadership, soon brigadiers will be removed through Facebook, etc

She also stated that "the committee is practically non-existent". According to the MP, all the "subcommittees" in the vast majority do not even have meetings, let alone make decisions.

However, she added that despite the decision to withdraw from one of her positions, she remains deputy head of the committee.

MP Iryna Gerashchenko statedthat Bezuhla was recalled on the initiative of Iryna Friz. She also said that Mariana Bezuhla cannot be deprived of her position as deputy head of the committee.

As for the recall of Bezuhla from the post of deputy head of the committee, the Office is blocking this decision and the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada is not bringing this resolution to the floor

In particular, recently she  Mariana Bezugla published a post criticizing the actions of the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, in which she stated that he allegedly agreed to sign a ceasefire with Russia.
