The number of doctor calls in Moscow more than doubled, and the daily number of calls jumped from 11,000 to more than 22,000, mainly due to high temperatures. The surge in sickness also affected medical staff, cutting the number of ambulances in half.

According to the Russian media, if earlier 11 thousand Moscow residents called doctors per day, at the end of 2023 the number of such calls was already 25 thousand.
The doctors themselves are also sick. Previously, ambulance crews consisted of 12 people, but now there are only 5-6. Others are sick at home. One doctor consults 600 patients (the norm is usually 250-300 people).
Also, due to the increase in cases of illness, the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has increased. The reason for this is mercury thermometers that Muscovites break.
