In the third quarter, the average monthly salary in Ukraine decreased by 3.3% to UAH 14,097.73 compared to the average of UAH 14,582.68 in the second quarter

The average salary in Ukraine decreased by 3.3% over the quarter, according to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, UNN reports.

While in the second quarter the average salary for calculating pensions was at the level of 14 582.68 UAH per month (43 748.04 UAH per quarter), in the third quarter this figure decreased to 14 097.73 UAH per month (42 293.19 UAH per quarter).

Thus, the average salary per month in the third quarter decreased by 484.95 UAH compared to the salary per month in the second quarter, or by almost 1.5 thousand per quarter.

In the first quarter, this figure averaged 12 954 UAH per month (38 862.37 UAH per quarter).

To recap,

the average salary in 2022 increased by almost 6%.
