A new mobile medical team of the Ukrainian Red Cross has begun providing free primary health care in remote settlements of the Krasnopil community in Sumy Oblast.

A new mobile medical team of the Ukrainian Red Cross has started working in Sumy region. This is reported by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Another mobile medical team has appeared in Sumy region and started its work this week. This is an initiative of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society aimed at providing free primary healthcare to remote settlements of the Krasnopil community.

The mobile team consists of a qualified family doctor, nurses and a driver. When visiting patients, the mobile medical team provides consultations, examines their health status, measures blood pressure, blood sugar and oxygenation levels, prescribes treatment and dispenses over-the-counter medications to alleviate their condition.

It is worth noting that this is the sixth mobile medical team to operate in Sumy region. In addition to Krasnopil, similar assistance is also provided in the communities of Krolevets, Trostyanets, Hlukhiv, Nedryhailivka and Putivl.

For more than a year and a half of work in Sumy region, Red Cross mobile teams have provided more than 23,000 consultations.
