Ukraine's defense forces eliminated 1,130 Russian military personnel over the past day. The total combat losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amount to approximately 1,452,880 people.
The total combat losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.45 million troops. Over the past day alone, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,130 occupiers. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

According to preliminary data as of August 5, 2026, the total combat losses of the enemy amount to about 1,452,880 military personnel, of which 1,130 were in the last day.
In addition, over the past day, Ukrainian troops destroyed five tanks, five armored combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, and two air defense systems.
Over 1,700 drones destroyed in a day
The Russian army also lost 1,715 operational-tactical level drones, 449 units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers, 10 ground robotic complexes, and three units of special equipment.
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has already lost 12,242 tanks, 25,084 armored combat vehicles, 47,396 artillery systems, 2,002 MLRS, 1,540 air defense systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 444,455 operational-tactical level drones, 5,007 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, as well as two submarines.
