An explosion occurs in Odesa amid warnings of a missile threat

An explosion in Odesa, Ukraine, prompted authorities to warn residents of the region to take shelter due to a missile threat.
An explosion has occurred in Odesa, Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov said. Before that, the Air Force warned of a high-speed target in the direction of Odesa region, UNN reports.
"An explosion was heard in the city, stay in safe places," Trukhanov wrote on Telegram.
The head of the RMA, Oleh Kiper, in turn, also called on residents of Odesa region to stay in shelters and pointed to the missile threat to the region.
Earlier, the Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic missile attacks from the south. After that, they wrote on Telegram about a high-speed target in the direction of Odesa region. Later, they called on residents of Chornomorsk to urgently go to the shelter.
