An accident involving a bus occurs in Prykarpattia: three dead, five injured

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, a car collided with a bus, killing three people and injuring five others.
On March 12, a car collided with a bus in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The impact caused the car to slide into a ditch and overturn. Three people died in the accident, and five others were injured. UNN reports this with reference to the Main Department of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Reportedly, the accident occurred near the village of Tyaziv, Yamnytsia TG. A foreign car, a Mercedes Benz C 220, collided with a bus. According to the police, the 67-year-old driver of the car, while performing an overtaking maneuver, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with the bus.
As a result of the impact, the car slid into a ditch and overturned.
Three people were reportedly killed on the spot. They are a 58-year-old bus driver and two passengers: 66 and 50 years old.
Five other passengers were injured, three of them were hospitalized.

Law enforcement officers tested the driver for intoxication. He was sober behind the wheel.
The police detained the driver in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of serving the man a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense stipulated by Part 3 Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being decided.
