There were 100 combat engagements in the frontline since the beginning of the day on December 27. The highest activity was observed in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy made 34 attempts to attack. Ukrainian troops repelled 11 attacks in the Kursk region. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 16 hours, reports UNN.
Today, in the Kharkiv sector , Russian invaders stormed the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops twice near Vovchansk, the battle continues.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy, supported by attack aircraft, twice actively attacked the positions of our units near Lozova. Ukrainian soldiers are holding steadfastly, and the fighting is still ongoing.
Today, in the Liman sector, the invading army carried out 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Nadiia, Terny, Torske, Zarichne, Dibrova and in Serebryansky forest. Five of the attacks are ongoing.
In the Siverskyi sector , the occupants twice tried to advance on the positions of our troops near Bilohorivka and in the direction of Vyymka, but were rebuffed.
In the Kramatorsk sector , Ukrainian troops repelled two assaults near Chasovyi Yar .
In the Toretsk sector, Russians tried to force our units out of their positions near Shcherbynivka and in Toretsk, where the Defense Forces repelled four attacks. One battle is still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day in the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy has already made 34 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Vozdvyzhenka, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Novoyelizavetivka, Novovasylivka and Vovkove. Defense forces are holding back the attack and have repelled 25 enemy attacks so far. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Fighting continues near Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Dachne and Kurakhove in the Kurakhove sector. According to the updated information, nine attacks of the occupation army were repelled today, three attacks are ongoing.
Four combat engagements continue in the Vremivsk sector , the enemy attacked seven times today near Kostyantynopolske, Rozlyv, Novyi Komar and Novodarivka, and the enemy also launched air strikes with anti-aircraft gunships at Kostyantynopol, Oleksiyivka and Zelene Pole.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 invaders' offensives, and six firefights are currently underway. Russian aviation also carried out five strikes, using nine guided aerial bombs on its territory.
