A 19-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were injured as a result of a munition detonation in the village of Kvitneve, Mykolaiv region, after they found the munition and brought it home.
In Mykolaiv region, a nineteen-year-old boy and a seventeen-year-old girl were injured by a detonation of a munition. This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Monday, UNN reports.
According to preliminary information, a nineteen-year-old boy and a seventeen-year-old girl found a munition in Kvitneve village, Mykolaiv district, brought it home and wanted to do something with it. As a result, it detonated.
The victims are currently in medical institutions. According to the State Emergency Service, doctors are fighting for their lives.
The rescuers noted that the area where the incident occurred remains a potentially contaminated area, as the community had been in the area of active hostilities for a long time.
