Police detained an attacker who stole the bag of a visitor to an entertainment venue in the Solomyansky district of the capital. This was reported by the Kyiv police, according to UNN.

Details

It is reported that the 19-year-old girl and her friend were having a rest in the establishment and briefly left their personal belongings at a table. When she returned to the place a few minutes later, she realized that her bag, which contained a significant amount of cash, was missing.

Law enforcement officers established that a 21-year-old Kyiv resident was involved in the crime. Investigators are currently working with her, and the issue of serving her a notice of suspicion is being decided.

For the theft committed under martial law, the girl faces up to eight years in prison.
