A passenger plane crashed in the Brazilian city of Gramado, killing 9 people on board. The plane hit a chimney, crashed into a house and fell on a furniture store, and 15 more people were affected by smoke.
In southern Brazil, nine people died in a small passenger plane crash on Sunday. This was reported by DW, according to UNN.

At least 15 people were taken to the hospital, most of them due to smoke inhalation from the fire caused by the plane crash.
It is noted that the plane hit the chimney of the building, after which it crashed into the second floor of the building and then fell on a furniture store.
According to the fire brigade, the plane took off from Canela Regional Airport, near Gramado, and was headed for Florianópolis, another popular tourist destination during Christmas.
Gramado is a very popular destination in the south of Brazil, known for its German architecture and mountainous landscapes.
