In Zhytomyr, the driver of a Nissan hit an 8-year-old boy crossing the road. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was injured and taken to the hospital. Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the incident in the framework of criminal proceedings, UNN reports with reference to the police of Zhytomyr region.

It is noted that the traffic accident occurred on April 6 at about 19:45 on Dmytrivska Street. Currently, investigators of the Zhytomyr District Police Department are establishing all the circumstances of the incident in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
