Armed men in military uniforms broke into the Kosyno Thermal Waters complex in Zakarpattia, threatened visitors, drove them out and "packed" two employees into their bus.

Several dozen armed men in military uniforms broke into the territory of the Kosyno Thermal Waters complex and drove people outside at gunpoint, representatives of the sanatorium said  and released a video of the incident, UNN reports .

On December 7, 2023, at 12 hours. 30 Kyiv time, several dozen unidentified persons wearing balaclavas and military uniforms with assault rifles broke into the territory of the Kosyno Thermal Waters Complex. Threatening female employees of the complex with assault rifles, they entered the private territory without any documents. All visitors, including children, women and the elderly, were driven out of the saunas and treatment rooms at gunpoint

The statement says that the "action" was organized by the head of the Transcarpathian OTCC Savchuk Andriy and the head of the Uzhhorod RTCC Tyshchuk Ihor.

During the raid on the territory of the complex, no more than 20% of the total number of visitors were men, and all the rest were elderly people, children and women. During the event, no one was served with a summons, but armed men in balaclavas "packed" two employees of the complex into their bus and took them to an unknown destination.

The statement and evidence of the incident were sent to law enforcement agencies. Criminal proceedings have already been registered in the Unified State Register of Criminal Offenses under the articles of abuse of power, infliction of bodily harm and kidnapping.
