The oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, russian federation, was already targeted at the beginning of July.
At the time, it concerned "TAIF-NK" — one of the largest oil-refining complexes in the russian federation, comprising the oil refinery itself, a gasoline plant, and a deep processing complex for heavy residues. The facility's designed oil-processing capacity is more than 7 million tonnes per year, while taking all types of feedstock into account, the complex's total capacity exceeds 8 million tonnes. The plant's products include diesel fuel, gasoline, jet fuel, and other petroleum products used to support the economy and military logistics of the russian federation.
