88 combat engagements since the beginning of the day: almost a third in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors

There were 88 combat engagements in the frontline, with the largest number of combat engagements in the Vremivsk sector - 20. One third of all attacks took place in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors, where the enemy is actively using aviation.
Since the beginning of the day, 88 battles have taken place on the frontline, most of them - 20 - in the Vremivsk sector, and almost a third - in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of November 20, at 4 p.m., UNN writes.
Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat engagements along the entire frontline has increased to 88. The occupants continue to use aviation, in particular, to drop drones, and to carry out attacks in all directions of the east and south of our country, especially in Pokrovske and Kurakhove. Defense forces hold the line and take necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough
According to the General Staff, the situation is as follows:
In the Kharkiv sector, our troops repelled two Russian attacks near Vovchansk and Starytsia today.
Our soldiers stopped five assault actions of the invaders near Zahryzove, Kucherivka, Kruhlyakivka and Zelenyi Hai in the Kupyansk direction.
On the Liman direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Zarichne and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 6 combat engagements in this sector, one of which is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy actively used bombers, dropping four drones near the village of Chervone.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked our troops' positions in the area of Toretsk four times in vain. The enemy also dropped two bombs in the area of Kostyantynivka.
In the Pokrovsky sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions 15 times today in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Krasny Yar, Liskivka, Yurivka, Zhovte, Petrivka, Dachenske, Hryhorivka and Pushkine.
In the Kurakhove sector, our defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of Berestky, Zorya, Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka and Antonivka. Nine enemy assaults have already been repelled by our defenders, and three more firefights are ongoing.
On the Vremivsk direction, 20 enemy attacks near Trudove, Kostiantynopol, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka and Novodarivka were stopped, four more attacks are still ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Orikhivske, Huliaipil and Siversk sectors today.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, our soldiers repelled three attacks by Russian invaders on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
The occupants do not stop using artillery on the territory of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The areas of Yablunivka, Sydorivka, Oleksandriya, Velyka Pysarivka, Volfine in Sumy region; Lemishchyno in Kharkiv region; and Leonivka in Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.
"According to available information, Russia has carried out 9 air strikes on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, using 15 combat aircraft," the General Staff noted.
