214 combat engagements took place in the frontline: enemy intensifies activity in the Siversky sector - General Staff

In the frontline, 214 combat engagements were registered, most of them in the Siversk, Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors. The enemy carried out 34 air strikes and launched 606 kamikaze drones across the territory of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day on December 15, 214 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Most of the fighting took place in the Siversk, Kurakhove, Pokrovske and Vremivske directions. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 22:00 on 15.12.2024, UNN reports.
The Russian invaders launched one missile (2 rockets) and 34 air strikes (53 drones) on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, 606 kamikaze drones were used and more than 3,400 attacks were made on the positions of our troops and populated areas,
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed our positions near Vysoka Yaruga, Vovchansk and Tykhyne. Nine attacks were repelled by the defense forces, and one firefight is ongoing.
The enemy's losses in the sector so far amounted to 90 troops killed and wounded, four vehicles, nine UAVs and a unit of enemy special equipment were destroyed; three vehicles and one artillery system were also damaged.
Kupyansk sector: the enemy conducted offensive actions near Zahryzove and Lozova. Three battles were completed, one is still ongoing.
In the Liman sector, Russian invaders stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 18 times near Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Tverdokhlibove and Nadiya. Ukrainian defenders stopped 15 enemy attacks, three firefights are still ongoing.
Siverskyi sector: the enemy stormed our positions 33 times near Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske, Ivan-Daryivka and Vyymka, fighting is currently ongoing in 17 locations.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked three times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky, all attempts to advance were stopped by Ukrainian troops.
In the Toretsk sector , the enemy carried out 11 assault operations with the support of bomber aircraft. The invaders stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Seven of the aggressor's attacks were repelled, four clashes are still ongoing.
Pokrovsk sector: since the beginning of the day the enemy attacked 27 times in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Zelene, Pishchane and Novooleynivka. Our defenders repelled 16 attacks, 11 combat engagements are still ongoing.
According to the available data, the enemy's losses so far today amounted to 362 servicemen killed and wounded; two tanks, six vehicles, an ATGM and a UAV control antenna were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
In the Kurakhove sector, the invaders attacked 31 times near Staryi Terny, Sontsivka, Zorya, Kurakhove and Uspenivka. 23 attacks have already been repelled, and the fighting continues.
In the Vremivsk sector, fighting continues near Sukhi Yaly, Rozlyv, Zelenivka and Makarivka. In the areas of Kostyantynopolske, Trudove, Novyi Komar, and Novosilka, Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 enemy attacks.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped three attempts by the occupants to attack our positions.
In the Kursk region, our defenders repelled 26 enemy attacks, and the invaders continue to attack.
There were no major changes in other areas.
