Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled residential areas in Kherson region, damaging buildings and a car, injuring 16 people, and Ukrainian air defense destroyed a Russian drone.
In Kherson region, Russian troops shelled residential areas over the past day, damaging houses, hitting an administrative building, injuring 16 people, and at night an enemy Shahed attack drone was destroyed in the region, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson RMA, on Thursday, UNN reports.

According to Prokudin, the enemy fired at Mykhailivka, Beryslav, Novotyanka, Chaikyne, Antonivka, Zmiivka, Havrylivka, Ivanivka and the city of Kherson over the past day.
According to him, the Russian military hit residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, 2 private houses were damaged.
The administrative building and a private car were hit. 16 people were injured due to Russian aggression
"During a nighttime drone attack, the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 1 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region," said the RMA head.
