139 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the last day, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector - 38, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning report, UNN reports.

"In total, 139 combat engagements were registered over the past day," the report says.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile and 73 air strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used five missiles and dropped 124 combat aerial vehicles. In addition, the Russians used 1,445 kamikaze drones and fired over 4,400 times, 173 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two areas of personnel concentration, three artillery units, two air defense units, one radar station, two command posts, an ammunition depot and one other important object of the invaders.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried unsuccessfully to break into the defense of our troops near Vovchansk five times.
Eleven occupants' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Lozova, Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, Pershotravneve and Kruhlyakivka. The enemy actively used aviation in this area.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 14 times. They tried to break into our defense near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Hryhorivka, Torske and Terny.
One firefight took place in the area of Stupochky in the Kramatorsk sector.
The enemy actively used bomber aircraft in the Toretsk sector, conducting eight attacks near Toretsk, Druzhba and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 38 aggressor's assaults in the areas of Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Dachanske, Myrolyubivka, Novotoretske, Yurivka, Pustynka and Pushkine.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks. The occupants were most active in the areas of Novoselydivka, Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelizavetivka and Antonivka.
In the Vremivsky sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, launched 15 attacks on our positions near Kostiantynopolske, Trudove, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne and Novodarivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupants attacked once in the direction of Novoandriivka without success.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, our defenders stopped two attempts by Russian invaders to advance in the last day, and the occupants were fiercely repulsed, suffering losses, and retreated.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
On the border with Sumy region, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
