Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Special Forces fighters are fighting in the hottest spots of the frontline, successfully conducting special operations and performing tasks.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi heard a report from Commander of the Special Operations Forces Oleksandr Trepak on the strategy for the development of the Special Operations Forces and the tasks performed and planned.
Brigadier General Oleksandr Trepak spoke about the three main areas of the SSO's activities: psychological operations and non-kinetic actions, resistance movement in the temporarily occupied territories, and actions of special forces units.
They also discussed further reform and development of the SSS's capabilities in line with current challenges and using the best international and domestic experience gained since 2014.
In addition, the President awarded soldiers with state awards, including two Heroes of Ukraine, and the 142nd Training Center of the Special Forces was given the honorary name “named after Major General Vsevolod Zmiienko.
