President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that during today's meetings in Brussels, key attention will be paid to the issues of strengthening Ukraine's air defense. The head of state said this before the start of the "Ramstein" format meeting, UNN reports.

According to the President, preparations for the current meeting began the day before during negotiations with the NATO Secretary General and the German Defense Minister.
"We started with yesterday's meeting with the NATO Secretary General and the German Defense Minister. We are grateful to Germany and all other defense ministers for what they have prepared for today, for Ramstein,"
The President emphasized that among the main topics of the meeting are the issues of PURL, air defense, Patriot systems, and anti-ballistic missiles.
"First of all, it is the issue of PURL, the issue of air defense, the issue of Patriot, the issue of anti-ballistic missiles. Eleven countries currently support new PURL packages. God grant that we succeed in everything, so that we receive such serious support from such a serious number of countries,"
Zelenskyy expressed hope that following the meeting, Ukraine would receive additional decisions regarding the strengthening of its air defense system and protection against Russian attacks.
