"Former Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi takes up his post as Ukraine's ambassador to the UK on July 10," the statement reads.

Earlier it was reported that Zaluzhnyi has already left for the UK and will soon begin his duties as ambassador.
On May 9, Zelenskyy appointed Zaluzhnyy as ambassador to the United Kingdom.
