President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. The Head of State emphasized that Kyiv counts on mutually beneficial agreements, particularly regarding the resumption of negotiations on a free trade zone with Serbia, UNN reports.

Details

The leaders discussed issues of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Serbia. The presidents share the same position: relations must be strong and have potential for development.

Zelenskyy noted that these days a designated representative of the Ukrainian government – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka – will be working in Belgrade.

"We count on mutually beneficial agreements, particularly regarding the resumption of negotiations on a free trade zone with Serbia," the Head of State emphasized.

The President of Serbia also spoke about the diplomatic agenda for the near future. The leaders agreed to stay in contact.
