Fedorov and Pistorius agreed on aid priorities ahead of Ramstein. The focus is on missiles for Patriot, IRIS-T, and Ukrainian drones of various types.

Ukraine has agreed with Germany on priorities for strengthening the Defense Forces ahead of the "Ramstein" format meeting—Patriot systems, air defense, and Ukrainian drones—and separately discussed accelerating the supply of ammunition for IRIS-T, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported on social media on Wednesday, UNN writes.

Held a conversation with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. We discussed priority areas of support for Ukraine and further coordination ahead of the next meeting of the Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format,

- Fedorov wrote.

Following the President's instructions, the head of the Ministry of Defense noted, "we continue to exhaust the enemy simultaneously in three domains—in the sky, on the ground, and in the economy." "The Defense Forces are systematically destroying Russian logistics, striking critical targets in the enemy's rear, and weakening its military potential," he noted.

"Our task is to direct international support as quickly as possible toward solutions that yield the greatest results for the front line and the protection of Ukrainian cities," Fedorov continued.

According to him, the focus of cooperation includes:

  • PAC-3 missiles for Patriot through the JUMPSTART mechanism;
    • additional contributions to PURL;
      • extended-range artillery ammunition within the framework of the Czech initiative;
        • fiber-optic FPV drones and Ukrainian-made middle strike drones.

          "Separately, we discussed accelerating the supply of ammunition for IRIS-T, developing anti-ballistic capabilities, and further supporting technological solutions that are already proving their effectiveness on the battlefield," the Ukrainian Defense Minister stated.

          Also, according to him, they "considered opportunities to direct funding already announced by partners toward the most critical needs of the Defense Forces."

          "I am grateful to Germany for its leadership, systematic support of Ukraine, and readiness to work on solutions that are already helping to strengthen our defense today," Fedorov noted.

          As a reminder

          The day before, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius indicated that the FRG would provide an additional 300 million euros for the purchase of ammunition for Ukraine as part of the Czech initiative.
