This involves interaction between defense companies, engineers, and volunteers who exchange experience and technology. This allows for partially bypassing political restrictions, particularly due to the sensitivity of the topic for China.
Ukraine adheres to the "One China" principle, while Taiwan avoids steps that could escalate relations with Beijing. At the same time, informal contacts are expanding, including humanitarian aid, visits by politicians, and business cooperation.
