Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó believes that the Hungarian elections saw interference coordinated by foreign intelligence services. According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Brussels institutions were interested in a change of government in Hungary. Szijjártó stated this in an interview with Telex, as reported by UNN.

It is also quite obvious that external players, including the Ukrainians, had serious interests regarding the outcome of the Hungarian elections. It is clear that these external actors – President Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian government, Brussels institutions – were not interested in us continuing to govern,”
