US President Donald Trump plans to meet with envoys from Israel and Lebanon during the second round of peace talks on Thursday. An American official told Reuters, according to UNN.

According to him, US President Trump will greet both representatives upon their arrival.

The official also said that the meeting was moved from the State Department, where the first round took place last week, to the White House so that Trump could attend.
The talks come as a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, agreed upon by the Israeli and Lebanese governments, is set to expire. US officials say they hope the truce will be extended.
