The State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine responds to consumer appeals regarding the improvement of electricity supply. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Government Portal.
Details
During the first quarter of 2026, the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate processed over 20,000 consumer appeals.
The largest number of them were received and considered by territorial bodies in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Odesa regions and the city of Kyiv
Also, in order to increase the reliability of electricity supply in January-March 2026, distribution system operators performed the following works:
- replaced 21 defective supports of overhead power lines.
This allowed reducing the risks of emergency situations;
- cleared over 2.5 km of overhead line routes from
undergrowth and trees that could cause damage to networks;
- repaired 18 damaged cable and overhead power lines. Also, 2 km of new overhead lines were built;
- replaced almost 6 km of wires with wires of a larger cross-section. This contributed to reducing network limitations. Opportunities for additional consumer connections were also created.

In February 2026, the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate conducted an unscheduled inspection of Vinnytsiaoblenergo due to violations of outage schedules.
