Safe parking facilities, car-free courtyards, and accessibility: LEV Development presented its projects at the Lviv Build Forum.

The second Lviv Build Forum was held in Lviv. This professional event brought together leaders of the construction industry in western Ukraine: construction business owners, CEOs, developers, contractors, and investors.

This year's forum theme, "Architects of Risk," focused on managing a construction business amid war, unstable rules of the game, and long investment cycles. The event also featured discussions on housing concepts that meet wartime security requirements while remaining comfortable to live in.

The forum was organized by CORE Business Club, while the event also hosted Lviv Build Expo — a space for meeting leading companies and suppliers in the industry. As is traditional, the forum also had a charitable component: an auction held jointly with the "Birds of Victory" initiative to support Ukrainian defenders.

LEV Development became the official partner of the Lviv Build Forum. For more than 10 years, the company has been shaping new standards in the real estate market. The developer's portfolio includes 17 projects in Lviv, Kyiv, and Bukovel, 13 of which have already been commissioned.

Using its own projects as examples, LEV Development presented several approaches that are increasingly being applied in modern Ukrainian residential construction. These include landscaping based on satellite data and the use of underground parking facilities as shelters — they are designed with reinforced concrete slabs, ventilation, backup generators, toilets, and supplies of drinking water. At the same time, developers are moving away from the gloomy appearance of typical underground parking facilities in favor of bright lighting and clear navigation. Forum participants also noted the general shift from high-rise development to four- to six-story buildings, following the example of European cities — with a lower burden on infrastructure and lower population density.
