Over the last day, 70 combat engagements took place on the Ukrainian front. Russians were advancing in seven directions. Most of all - in Novopavlivske. Our defenders repelled 19 enemy attacks there. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to UNN.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult. There were 70 combat engagements over the last day. In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 68 air strikes, fired 37 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

In the Kupyansk sector, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Tabaivka, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to force units out of their positions.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled five enemy attacks near Terny and Yampolivka in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Bakhmut sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas east of Chasovyi Yar, Bohdanivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve its tactical position.
In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke and Pervomaiske in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 19 times.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 5 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region, west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to drive our units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assault operations on the positions of our defenders.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 7 strikes on enemy positions. Another area where enemy personnel were concentrated was hit by fighters from a Ukrainian rocket and artillery unit.
