In Kyiv, following a massive Russian attack, fires have already been extinguished at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the "Mystetskyi Arsenal"; across the country, 53 people have been wounded and 11 are known to have been killed by the enemy strike, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on social media on Monday, UNN reports.

"Currently in Kyiv – at the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal – rescuers have already liquidated the fires. I am grateful to all the services working at the sites of the shelling, and to everyone who is helping. It has been confirmed that two Russian drones purposefully attacked that part of the city where the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located. As of now, 35 casualties are known in Kyiv. In total across the country, 53 people have been wounded and 11 are known to have been killed by this massive Russian strike. My condolences to all the families and loved ones," Zelenskyy wrote.
The President emphasized: "We are in constant communication with our partners regarding the consequences of this Russian attack and the necessary response."
