Russia continued attacking northeastern Ukraine today - Kharkiv, Balakliia, and Sumy were under fire, with one person killed and seven injured, according to military administrations in the regions, reports UNN.

"An enemy drone strike was recorded in the Saltivskyi district. As a result of the shelling, a 28-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were injured. Doctors diagnosed them with an acute stress reaction. Assistance is being provided," wrote the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on social media.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified: "As a result of a strike on a gas station in the Saltivskyi district, there are two injured - an acute stress reaction."
"The enemy struck the city of Balakliia. According to preliminary information, as a result of the shelling, one person, unfortunately, died. Also, four more people were injured. They are receiving medical assistance," Syniehubov also reported.

Sumy
"A 72-year-old man was injured as a result of a Shahed-type drone strike on a warehouse in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. He was on the street near the impact site. The victim was taken to the hospital in satisfactory condition and is receiving qualified medical care," stated the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhii Kryvosheienko, on social media.
