Regional youth leaders are making a three-day visit to the capital. As part of the event, the young people met with Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi.
The conversation was very substantive: about young people's opportunities to influence decisions in their communities, state financial programs, resources for developing territories, support for youth development in the territories, and support for youth housing loans. Together with colleagues from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, we conducted training on the formation of local budgets. It is important to know where the state's responsibility begins and how young people can join these processes
In addition, according to the official, all leaders of the Chamber of Regional Youth Congresses and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine are also taking part in the event, and all regions will be represented.
Two more intensive days lie ahead: meetings, training, and work with state institutions. And then a return to their regions, where the knowledge gained must be transformed into concrete initiatives. The main indicator of the work is how many ideas will actually become decisions. The main indicator of the work is how many ideas will actually become decisions. I thank President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the initiative, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the communities, and everyone who contributed to the organization and supports the development of regional youth congresses
