Russian dictator Vladimir Putin once again decided to openly show his true face. He stated that sooner or later Ukraine will "lose its western lands, which were a gift from the Soviet Union" and believes that these territories will go to Poland, Romania, and Hungary. He said this during a meeting with the military of the Russian Navy, reports UNN.

The dictator stated that Russia "did not start" any war, but "reacted to Ukraine's actions, which began hostilities with the assistance of the West." He once again decided to flaunt his "knowledge" of history.

This is not the first such statement by the Russian dictator. In April 2008, during a meeting of the Russia-NATO Council, he stated that "Ukraine is not a state." This was reported by media in Ukraine, Russia, and a number of other countries around the world.
The Kremlin leader even then hinted that Ukraine would "cease to exist" if it took a course toward joining NATO.
Furthermore, back in 2005, during a speech before the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Putin stated that the collapse of the Soviet Union was for Russia "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century."
He also repeatedly made statements that "the Soviet Union is historical Russia, which simply had a different name." He spoke about this in 2011 and 2022.

Earlier, UNN reported that the Russian dictator confirmed his intention to seize territories he considers "historical lands of Russia." This refers, first and foremost, to the south and east of Ukraine.
