Law enforcement officers detained an organizer of illegal transportation of men across the border in Kyiv. He turned out to be a resident of the Kyiv region who established a scheme for the illegal departure of men of conscription age outside the state to avoid mobilization during martial law - the cost of "services" was $23,000 per person. According to the investigation, the perpetrator assured clients of the possibility of organizing unhindered departure across the state border of Ukraine towards the Republic of Moldova.
During searches following the suspect's detention, money, mobile phones, forged and suspicious documents, including blank ID forms and certificates, as well as weapons - a hunting carbine and a shotgun with ammunition - were discovered and seized.
The detainee was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. The article's sanction provides for imprisonment from seven to nine years, with the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years, along with confiscation of property.
