In Kyiv region, as a result of massive enemy shelling, 1700 consumers are without power, there is no shortage of electricity, the Ministry of Energy reported on Thursday, UNN reports.
Generation
"A unit at one of the TPPs has been put out for emergency short-term repairs. This will not affect the satisfaction of consumer needs. There are 7 nuclear units in operation, and there are enough generating capacities of thermal and hydroelectric generation in reserve," the Ministry of Energy reported on Telegram.
As indicated, commercial imports and exports of electricity are planned.
"The situation is under control. The system is balanced. No outage schedules are applied," the agency added.
Consequences of shelling
"As a result of the fall of enemy missile fragments, power grid equipment in Kyiv region was damaged. 1700 consumers are without power. Restoration work is underway," the Ministry of Energy said.
As a result of the shelling, overhead lines were reportedly disconnected in Chernihiv region, and almost 800 consumers in 10 settlements were cut off from electricity at once.
The shelling damaged gas distribution networks in Kharkiv region, leaving more than 600 customers without gas supply. In Sumy region, an above-ground gas distribution pipeline was also damaged due to hostilities, leaving 30 consumers without gas, the ministry said.
De-energization
"At night, two 220 kV overhead lines of NPC Ukrenergo in Lviv region were disconnected, which resulted in the power outage of 132 thousand consumers, including the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia (there were no disruptions in train traffic). As of this morning, all consumers have been supplied with electricity," the Ministry of Energy said.
Due to technical reasons, the 330 kV high-voltage overhead line in Poltava region was disconnected. The line is back in operation.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 15.52 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
Import and export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 3305 MWh. Exports are also planned - up to 2148 MWh.
