A man from Khmelnytskyi region tried to enter Moldova by paraglider; he was detained, the State Border Guard Service reported on Friday, writes UNN.

"A 48-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi region decided to cross the border by paraglider, bought online for 500 euros," the SBGS reported.
For his "take-off," the man, as noted, chose a field near the state border and planned to fly without documents or any navigation — "by eye."
"The flight, which could have ended in tragedy, was stopped by border guards of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi detachment even before take-off. The offender was detained and brought to administrative responsibility," the border guards reported.
