In the night of August 15, according to him, the enemy struck with 3 guided air-to-surface missiles X-59 from the airspace of the Kursk region (Russia) and 29 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yeisk, Kursk (Russia).
29 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions
According to him, mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, aviation, air defense missile units and electronic warfare means of the Air Force were involved in the air defense battle.
